Could the Dorset Echo run a campaign to persuade the Government to introduce a common standard of design and operation of hand dryers in all conveniences to which the public have access?
On some machines across Dorset one appears to risk life and limb by inserting hands into the dryer, others only operate when you correctly judge the right distance from hand to dryer to activate a sensor.
Then, quite new to the market, is a device which would have delighted Mr Bean to assist him in his famous bathroom mishap in the film Bean, as it directs fierce hot air at trouser level.
