Sports reporter will be sadly missed
May I through your letters page express my sadness in the passing of Mr Brian Copp.
Brian was a true gentleman and of late a sports reporter for the Dorset Echo and keen supporter of the local boxing clubs both in Weymouth and Dorchester.
In 1984 when my father, Bill Pitney, died, Brian was one of the first people to send his cond-olences to my family having known my dad from his football days in Weymouth in 1947/48.
Brian will be sadly missed by all.
