Letter: Royal family is a lucrative tourist attraction
I entirely agree with Richard Samways in his reply to Kevin Archer’s letter.
If we get rid of our Royal family bang goes a huge and lucrative tourist attraction.
From the Changing of the Guard to the latest Royal wedding, people flock here to catch a glimpse. We are envied by many republics, not least the USA, once a British colony and now a firm ally.
