A BIG thank you from Dorchester and District Amnesty Group to everyone who stopped at our Tree of Hope stall in Dorchester on December 12 to sign a card for a prisoner of conscience, victim of injustice, or human rights defender under threat.
Your 208 cards have been sent to give their messages of support all over the world and your generous donations, adding up to £165, have made a big contribution towards costs.
Those of you who signed cards to the Palestinian boy, Hamdi, will be delighted to know that he has now been released and is home with his family.
Christine Tempest, Romulus Close, Dorchester.
