MOST charity shops do charge much more than they used to.

Readers might not be aware that charity shops do not have to pay VAT on donated goods and also do not have to pay Corporation Tax so they have an immediate financial advantage to all small businesses and can afford to pay on average £70,706 to charity chief executives.
