Changes forced on Triangle
BERE REGIS v
PORTLAND RT
PORTLAND Red Triangle will make two enforced changes to their line up for tomorrow's trip to Bere Regis in Dorset Funeral Plan Division Three (2pm).
Chris Skinner will replace Olly Whisker, who is studying for his GCSEs, while Sam Polley will come in for Jan Davey, whose wife went into labour on Thursday.
Davey took 6-49 last Saturday as the islanders defeated nine-man Suttoners at Reforne by five wickets. Now skipper Hewson is targeting a first away win for three years.
He said: "We are now getting a strong side out week-in week-out and we will go there full of confidence.
"They have not had the best of starts to the season, suffering defeats in their opening two games, so hopefully we will come away with a positive result.
"There is certainly a lot we still need to work on. To lose five wickets last week chasing 111 was disappointing and we need to start ensuring that when people get in they push on."
Portland: Hewson, Dixon, West, Barrett, Rathnayake, Smart, Neven, Riley, Strong, Skinner, Polley.
* Portland Seconds take on Poole Fourths at Reforne in Dorset Funeral Plan Division Seven tomorrow (2pm).
The islanders are still searching for their first win of the season following defeats against Cranborne Seconds and Bridport Seconds.
Portland Seconds: Tombs, Qualye, M Males, S Males, Proffitt, Nott, Dodson, Locke, Morris, Samuals, Randell.
