Park test as Seasiders face leaders

STALBRIDGE v

WEYMOUTH SECONDS

BEN Doidge and Andy Jarvis will line up for Weymouth Seconds tomorrow when they take on Dorset Funeral Plan League Division One leaders Stalbridge at The Park (2pm).

Dan Hutchens has family commitments and will miss out along with Joe Trevett while Jonnie Armfield will open the batting again no doubt looking to build on last Saturday's maiden century in the defeat at home to Sherborne.

Seasiders' skipper Steve Budd said: "I have played Stalbridge a couple of times and they are one of the best teams in the division.

"They are at the top at the moment and the fact they have won their opening two games tells its own story, so we know we are in for a tough game.

"However, I have every confidence in our lads. We have a good mixture of youth and experience, and so far none of the young lads have let me down.

"Last week's defeat was disappointing for everybody but we played well and I am sure that will make everyone stronger, especially for the games against the better sides."

Weymouth Seconds: Armfield, Fulton, Jarvis, McKay, Doidge, Wilsdon, Womble, Budd, Newton, Walton, Croker.
