THREE finalists were chosen from more than 40 would-be carnival queens at Banus nightclub last night.
Yvonne Worrall, Jamie Asquith and Jessica Spencer impressed the panel of local business leaders and carnival organisers after chatting to comperes and posing in evening outfits and casual wear.
Readers will have the chance to vote for their favourite by telephone, post or text. See the Dorset Echo next week for details.
The new queen will be crowned alongside her two attendants at the Weymouth Carnival Ball on Saturday, August 9.
