A SUMMIT is being held by eco campaigners in support of the Navitus Bay Windfarm proposed off Purbeck.
East Dorset Friends of the Earth is staging the conference, Navitus Bay Windfarm, Love it or Loathe it – Why We Need It, on Tuesday, October 30.
The green group says the aim is to dispel some of the concerns about the proposal and to give people the opportunity to question experts.
The turbines are proposed by Eneco for a sector of sea off Swanage and will stretch towards Portland.
The meeting will be from 7pm to 9pm in the Allesbrook Theatre, Talbot Campus, Bournemouth University.
Speakers will include Friends of the Earth director Andy Atkins, project director Mike Unsworth and RSPB project officer Renny Henderson.
