Have cup cake and a cut for cancer charity

A SALON and spa in Weymouth is hosting a Cup Cake Coffee Morning tomorrow and offering half-price hair cuts in aid of a breast cancer charity.

Iroka hair dressers, in association with Belles Cakes, is holding the event from 10am to 5pm.

Organiser Trina Mortimer said: “We’re doing a Cup Cake Coffee Morning, together with Belles Cakes this Thursday.

“All are welcome to come along in return for a donation.

“We’re also offering half price haircuts and we’ll be giving 10 per cent of the money to a breast cancer charity.

“There’s also 10 per cent off retail products, and we’ll be doing file and polish just for donations.”

She added: “The reason we’re doing it is because we’ve had cancer in our family.

“I did a fashion show earlier this year in aid of charity.

“My mum died of cancer aged 47 so I’m a great supporter of cancer charities.”
