Youngsters can enjoy BMX jam at leisure centres in West Dorset

YOUNGSTERS can enjoy some high flying half term fun at a free BMX Jam at leisure centres in West Dorset.
West Dorset District Council’s Action Van service is running sessions for eight to 16-year-olds including at Dorchester Sports Centre on Monday 29 and at Budmouth Community Sports Centre in Weymouth on Thursday November 1.
West Dorset District Council sports development officer Amelia Hooley said: “These are the first ever BMX jams that we have held.
“BMXing was showcased in the Olympics and we were inspired to get young people to give a new sport a go such as BMXing. To book a place at the Dorchester event, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, call 01305 858400. For a spot at the Budmouth session, from 10am to 12noon, contact 01305 830555.
