RESURFACING work on a footbridge in Weymouth due to start this week has been delayed until October 29.
Dorset County Council says it is too damp to do the four days of work on the deck of Alexander Bridge.
The bridge goes over the railway between Hanover Road and Radipole Gardens. It is planned to lay a new surface to reduce the noise from users and before a new cycle route is signposted over the bridge.
