Weymouth students on half term break adjust schedule

A PARTY of students from All Saints School in Weymouth is facing the superstorm in America.

The party of pupils, parents and staff are ataying in a hotel in Boston while the systems blasts the eastern seaboard.

A spokesman for the school said: "They have adjusted their schedule to cope with the current conditions on the east coast of the USA.

"The school party is happy and safe in its hotel in Boston and arrangements will be made to continue the visit when the situation allows."

I remember when the lucky ones used to go to Carey Camp or Leason House for a school trip.

No one gave two monkies when this storm killed over 40 people in Haiti, but as soon as its course switched to the USA this story has been rammed down our throats.

Wykite, that might be because the social, political and economic effects are significantly different. Not wishing to devalue the impact on the Carribean at all, just a thought.
