A Poundbury restaurant will be transformed into a catwalk as it hosts a fundraising fashion show in aid of the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.

The Engine Room at Poundbury Gardens is hosting the event on Thursday November 15 with all proceeds going to the hospice charity.

Tickets are on sale for the event, which starts at 6.30pm.

James Foster-Pegg, director at Poundbury Gardens, said: “We’ve recently added an Orangery to our restaurant and have also extended the range of outdoor and countryside clothing we now stock.

“We thought what better way to show off the new collection than with a fashion show and raise money for a worthwhile local cause at the same time.”

Staff from the garden centre and volunteers from the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust will take on the roles of models for the evening. There will also be refreshments available and a charity raffle on the night.

Tickets from Poundbury Gardens or from the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust by calling 01305 261800. They can also be bought on the night.
