BRACING sea air and a hearty lunch of fish pie with mushy peas was the recipe for a family day out in West Dorset for supermodel Kate Moss.

The slender blonde, one of the world’s highest earning models, reputed to have banked more than £5 million in one year alone, was spotted enjoying a traditional outing with her daughter and friends in Lyme Regis.

The group, which included rock stars and a small tribe of children, had lunch out and were reported to have spent time in the amusement arcade on Marine Parade.

The friends, some of whom have holiday homes in Lyme, met up for a relaxed lunch at Hix Oyster and Fish House.

With Kate Moss, 38 and her daughter, nine-year-old Lila Grace, were rock singer Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream and his wife Katy England, a top stylist who has often worked with the model. With nine children at the table with them, the group opted for a late lunch.

Hix maitre d Fran Marshall said: “Kate ordered oysters and shared a plate of woodland mushrooms. Then she had fish pie with mushy peas. She looked really normal. I was surprised that she wasn’t taller, but she was still really pretty.”

Kate Moss married Jamie Hince of rock band The Kills last year and the pair have visited West Dorset before including spending an evening at Bridport’s Electric Palace.

Meanwhile George Symonds, owner of the Lyme Regis amusement arcade was remaining tight-lipped.

“We have a lot of celebrities here in Lyme over the season and many do come in to the arcade, but I can’t confirm or deny whether Kate Moss was in here,” he added.
