Bridport Museum is offering anyone who is interested in wildlife, birds or the coast to spend half a day on a guided walk in West Bay with wildlife expert Dr Tom Brereton.

Next Friday, November 9, he will guide the group on an easy walk around West Bay, encouraging the group to look out for migrating birds.

The walk will be followed by a workshop at the Salt House with professional artist Rob Colbourne.

There will be the chance to produce some kind of artistic output based on the walk.

The results are then turned into postcards which will form the basis of a display at the museum next year. Some of the postcards may be sent to Newfoundland in Canada to renew some of Bridport’s historical links with the country.

The event is free, but bring a packed lunch and a camera if you have one. For more information or to book a place, call Emily at the museum on 01308 458703 or email curator@bridportmuseum.co.uk
