A DORSET children’s author will take up a new post as the first ever children’s author-in-residence at The Bull in Bridport today.
Rachel Bright, who runs The Bright Side international card and gift business from her farm based near Wareham, is also a children’s author and illustrator.
She has just been chosen as the official illustrator for World Book Day 2013 and will be kicking off her residency at The Bull today.
At 11am there will be a workshop for local children and guests and then a bedtime storytelling event in the evening for hotel guests only.
Waterstones will have a sales point in the hotel and Rachel will be signing copies of her books.
