At St. Mary's School, Bridport pupils were selling cakes and collecting money on a giant Pudsey bear.Dorset Echo:


Our photographers have been taking some great pics today, here's pupils at Bridport's St. Catherine's School who held a dressed down day and brought in their favourite toy to help raise funds for Children In Need.Dorset Echo:

Everyone at Scallywags Child Care Centre, Weymouth are wearing pyjamas today and they had a teddy bear's picnic at midday.


Pop into the Children's Centre at Dorset County Hospital today and make a Children In Need donation.

Staff are wearing something spotty, selling cakes, and there will be a raffle with lots of prizes including a Christmas hamper!



Here at the Dorset Echo we're wearing spots and stripes and donating to the cause. Cakes and a raffle are also helping to boost the Children in Need coffers. We'll post some pictures shortly!

14-week-old Evangeline-Lily James of Wyke Regis Weymouth shows her support of the charitable cause.Dorset Echo:


Dorset Echo: The children and staff of Wareham St Mary Primary School all came to school wearing spots and raised £117 for Children in Need.
The school is currently undergoing major refurbishment and even the building team on site donned spots for the cause.


Wessex Morris Men will be dancing in Dorchester tomorrow, Saturday, morning for Children In Need, at the top of South Street by the Town Pump from 10.30am.




Sisters Mabel and Flo Whiting, aged seven and five, of Stobourgh have been baking cakes and making flapjack all week.

They have sold to family, friends and their mum and dad's work colleagues.

In total they made 48 fairy cakes, 24 rice crispy cakes and 48 pieces of flapjack.

Between 12pm and 6pm, a Maxwell Neilson cakesale at St Aldhelm's Church in Spa Road Weymouth will be raising funds for Children In Need


Kids at The Front skatepark in Weymouth will be doing a sponsored one-hour skateathon this afternoon.

The Echo photographer will be there from 4.30pm.

At Southfield Veterinary Centre in South Walks, Dorchester, staff will be dressing up and selling cakes for Children in Need today



At the ASDA store in Weymouth today, a Children in Need exercise machine challenge is taking place along with a cake sale and guest appearance from Pudsey.

Chuckles Day Nursery at Budmouth College is among those joining in the festivities for Children In Need with a 'crazy clothes and hair' day.
