Lorry overturns on A35

UPDATED: A lorry and trailer has overturned on the A35.

The westbound carriage way is closed between White Way, just past Askerswell, and Monkey’s Jump, Dorchester.

Police were called at 1.17pm to the lorry and trailer, which had overturned close to White Way Cross, blocking the westbound carriageway.

The driver of the vehicle is ok according to police.

Recovery is ongoing and police are on scene directing traffic.

Sarcasm - lowest form of wit.

Due to the inconsiderate driver ignoring the £200,000 signs (which were operating earlier) we have long tail backs causing misery to all the rest!

If the sign cost 2,000 000, it would still be ignored.

Appologies for the sarcasm, was more of a dig at the drivers ignoring road signs.
