A WEYMOUTH store will be fundraising for the RNLI this weekend.

Wilkinson store on Westham Road will be raising funds for their regional charity of the year, the RNLI, today and tomorrow.

There will be a host of activities across the two days including a visit from the RNLI mascot Stormy Stan, who will be joining the team.

From 10am to 4pm there will be a raffle and children will be able to take part in a coloring competition.

Store Manager Tim Williams said: “We couldn’t be more pleased that we are supporting the RNLI, which we as a team nominated as our regional charity of the year.

“We look forward to welcoming Stormy Stan into the store and inviting our customers to get involved.”

Ros Pearse, corporate partnerships manager at RNLI, wished the team well in their fundraising efforts.

She said: “As the charity which saves lives at sea, we rely on the generosity of the public to help provide a lifesaving service around the country’s coast, so are very grateful to the staff at Wilkinsons for their continued support.”
