Police appeal after Dorchester auction house break-in

JEWELLERY and antiques worth up to £8,000 were stolen during a raid on a Dorchester auction house.

The burglary took place at the premises on Northernhay overnight between Saturday, November 24, and Sunday, 25.
Inspector Steve Marsh of Dorchester Police said: “It seems the suspects removed a pane of glass and entered through the window.
“Some quite high value jewellery, together worth £7,000 or £8,000 was taken.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police by calling 101.

I don't think much of the security arrangements if all the thieves had to do was remove a pane of glass to gain access.

sorry, just trying to be funny :)

although i don't read there was no alarms. if an alarm does go off, it'd take less than a minute to smash & grab
