Police in Weymouth are hunting a man who assaulted a teenager.
The victim, an 18-year-old from Weymouth, was near to the subway on Abbotsbury Road, not far from Westham Bridge, when he was punched in the face by an unknown man and sustained facial injuries.
Police Constable Phillip Billington, of Weymouth police, said: “This was a nasty attack that appears to be unprovoked.
“I now have available CCTV images of a man who I believe can help us with our investigation.
“I urge him to come forward and speak to us as I am keen to establish exactly what happened.
“Witnesses and anyone with any information, or anyone who recognises this man pictured should phone Dorset Police on 101 in strict confidence.”
The incident happened at 4.10am on Tuesday November 13 on Abbotsbury Road but police have just released details.
