Firefighters free trapped A35 motorist

A PERSON was released from a car following a collision just off the A35 at Puddletown.

Firefighters were called to the slip road roundabout at Puddletown just before 2pm today.

Crews from Dorchester and Bere Regis attended the incident and were on the scene within eight minutes.

A person was released by removing the roof and door of a car using two sets of hydraulic cutting equipment.

NearlyLocal, I was thinking exactly the same.
Suppose it's because the Brigade rarely turn out, when they do they have to shout from the rooftops.

Very good point. The other emergency services are just too busy saving lives and helping people to keep running to The Echo
