Arrest after disturbance on Weymouth Esplanade

A MAN was arrested on Weymouth Esplanade at 3am for threatening behaviour.
Officers were called to the Dorothy Inn after the town’s CCTV system showed a man refusing to leave the premises and being threatening to staff.
Police confirmed that during the arrest CS spray was deployed.
Inspector Les Fry said a man was arrested at the scene.
He said: “This was good work by the CCTV, which clearly helps to make Weymouth a safer place.”
