Early morning yawn: The fox on top of Katy Phillips’s garden shed in Weymouth
A WEYMOUTH resident was surprised to find a furry visitor on the roof of her shed one morning.
Katy Phillips, who lives in Lanehouse, woke up to find a friendly fox curled up on the roof of her garden shed.
She said: “When I woke up in the morning I looked across and saw what I thought was a large cat on the top of my shed, but it was a fox.
“It’s quite peculiar because they are usually quite skittish, but this one seemed quite comfortable.
“My son Daniel went outside to take photos and the little creature got up turned around and snuggled down again.
“Living with lots of houses around it’s quite nice to see there’s still wildlife about.
“He’s been there all day and even when we have been into the garden he didn’t move.”
