OLYMPIC medal winner Mary King is one of the speakers lined up to talk at the Fairwater Head Hotel’s Lunch Club.
The horsewoman, who was awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List, will be joined by a selection of speakers from all walks of life.
These include the MP Neil Parish, Natalie Manifold from Literary Lyme Tours, Dean Hancock from the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary, Paul Lovesey of Pickett Lane Nursery who will give gardening tips and Graham Forshaw will talk about his life as the harbourmaster at Lyme’s Cobb.
The Fairwater, in West Dorset, holds its regular Lunch Club meetings on the first Friday of each month.
The club was launched in 2011 and now has close to 100 members.
