WEST Dorset residents are being called upon to vote for worthy individuals.
The 2013 Young Volunteer Champions awards are taking place on Friday, March 15 as part of West Dorset District Council’s bid to raise the profile of youth volunteering in the area.
Nominations are now open until February 15 with forms being available from West Dorset District Council main offices, Tourist Information centres and Town Council offices.
The categories for nominations include Junior Young Champion for individuals aged 12 or under and Young Community Champion for those aged between 13 and 18.
An award will also go to the Senior Young Champion aged between 19 and 25 with the final accolade going to Youth Group Champion which is open to any youth voluntary or community group.
