ROCKFALL: Latest landslide at Burton Bradstock ROCKFALL: Latest landslide at Burton Bradstock

A NEW landslide has hit the section of coast at Burton Bradstock where tragic Charlotte Blackman was killed in July.

The 'significant' rockfall was discovered by a National Trust ranger at 11am today near the Hive beach.

The National Trust is warning people to keep away from the scene as the cliffs remain unpredictable.

Charlotte Blackman was buried under a massive landslide in July on the same section of cliffs, but closer to the Freshwater end.

Wish you wouldn't keep refering to these as 'landslides', they are 'rockfalls'. Landslides are what you get around Charmouth.

A landslide or landslip is a geological phenomenon which includes a wide range of ground movement, such as rockfalls, deep failure of slopes and shallow debris flows, which can occur in offshore, coastal and onshore environments
