Enterprise St Michael’s group in Bridport launches new website

THE Enterprise St Michael’s group in Bridport is approaching 300 members and has more than 30 volunteers.
The organisation, an industrial and provident society, has been developing a community initiative to realise an alternative vision for the St Michael’s Trading Estate.
The members are all shareholders in the non profit making society. It wants to secure investment to establish an alternative to the proposed development including 105 homes and work units on the site.
Its scheme includes community hall, business units, a warehouse and community garden.
The group has met with west Dorset MP Oliver Letwin and has launched a new website designed by the Wallis Agency located in Poundbury. Details at enterprisestmichaels.org.uk
