Echo reporters and editors need to go for spelling/grammar lessons. Cornflour is something you cook with. I think the bike may have disappeared from Cornflower Close!

More crime in Littlemoor...

But again, we are not to assume it's littlemoor residents ;)

Porcine objects will be seen flying over Weymouth Bay before this happens!

Why should you? the report doesn't say it was stolen by a Littlemoor resident, so why should you assume it was? Do you also assume the car damaged in Chelmsford street was damaged by a resident of the aforementioned street? No didn't think so.

Youth worker- You are right, some people need help, I think it may be you.
Its Littlemoor not Littlemore. Its thought not fort. Perhaps you will now lock your bike, if you get it back, every time you leave it. I'd love to know why you think it was an older person who stole your wheels.

Youth worker I have told you to check out your spelling with me before posting your comments!!!! Really sad about your lovely new bike it should have been safe even with no lock. What is the matter with people.

Youth worker you really are a very sad person. You say that I have let down young people. I have spent most of my long life helping and guiding young people. I have great faith in the ability of our young people to learn what is right, just like I did. Please don't feel sorry in needing help. We all need help at some stage in our short life.

Why do some people rip others apart for their spelling or grammar,I know what youth worker is trying to say,I suspect others do to,but some people just try to think they are better than anyone else.
Feel free to tear me apart, while your picking on me,your leaving someone else alone.

jmc1, calm down dear. I'm not ripping anyone apart and I certainly don't think that I'm better than you or the youth worker. The Dorset Echo try to write their copy in English so it follows that anyone using these comment pages should use the same lanuage. Why would I want to tear you apart? I don't know you.

Absolutely. No excuse for breaking the law. This idea that it is somebody else's fault is idiocy.
And let's be completely honest, if a bike was stolen in Chelmsford Street, there's a reasonable chance the culprit was from the Moor.

lesson learned - take a lock with you in future, doesn't matter where you are if you leave a bike of any value unlocked you can expect it to disappear!

I'm not sure your semi literate outburst justifies one, old chap.
Anyway, as nobody else has bothered.
Quotes for contents insurance for a 2 bed detached house via brilliantmoney.com.
DT3 6AX (Louviers Rd) - £14.45
DT4 0BA (Essex Road, Westham) - £13.79
DT5 1BX (Easton Rd, Pland) - £12.52

What that should show you is that your risk of having stuff nicked is higher in Littlemoor from an insurance actuary's perspective.

How on earth do you become a youth worker with spelling and grammar like that?

Apparently the "Costcutter" on Buxton Road was robbed by two young men from Littlemoor so they do travel far and wide unfortunately .

Really? My monthly premium for my 2 bed house in DT3 6** is £10.79 a month.

I think we can agree that Portland, Westham and 'The Moor' are all fantastic areas. I'd be pleased to be robbed in any of them.

To many people in their ivory towers outside of Littlemoor living in glass houses. People in suits commit just as many crimes like tax avoidance and corporate theft but justify it by looking down there upwardly mobile noses at the good people of Littlemoor. You get criminals in all walks of life whether its Littlemoor, Poundbury or Dorchester.

I don't quite understand your point. Could you list some other crimes which people in suits commit please? The only other one I can think of is hijacking a plane (whilst wearing a suit).

Clearly, it will depend on a number of factors other than postcode, so there will be variation. However, that is the price quoted by Aviva Home across all three locations, based on £25k contents.

Let me try and explain it to you with another example.

"All those good, hard working Taliban are misunderstood when they behead women for daring to get an education. Some women are prostitutes."

or how about

"All those Somali pirates are misunderstood. Some oil companies dodge taxes".

Actually, now i'm struggling with the logic.....
