A MAN from Dorchester was left with ‘severe bruising’ after an alleged assault in Bournemouth.

Police are hunting three men in relation to another incident which took place half-an-hour later in the same area.

A 23-year-old man of no fixed abode has been arrested in relation to the assault on the 21-year-old from the county town. He was later bailed.

A 20-year-old man from the Bournemouth area was left unconscious and suffered a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain following the second incident on Old Christchurch Road.

CCTV images of three men police want to speak to in connection with the other incident have been released.

Both incidents happened in the early hours of Sunday, December 30.

Detective Constable Matthew Manners, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Around 30 minutes prior to this incident, a 21-year-old Dorchester man was allegedly assaulted also on Old Christchurch Road. The victim sustained severe bruising and cuts to his head and face.”

Police are appealing for the three men pictured, anyone who recognises them and anyone who witnessed this incident to contact police on 101 as soon as possible.
