Teenager faces Weymouth Magistrates' Court charged with drug offences

A TEENAGER appeared at Weymouth Magistrates' Court via video link charged with multiple drugs offences.
Storm Darch, 18, formerly of Beverley Road and now of no fixed abode, is charged with possessing the Class B drug mephedrone with intent to supply between October, 2011 and March, 2012 and possessing criminal property, cash, on March 7 last year.
He has also been charged with possessing a weapon designed to give an electrical charge on the same date.
Darch is further charged with other drug-related offences including possessing quantities of heroin, mephedrone and amphetamine with intent to supply on dates last year.
A further charge of criminal damage to a car windscreen has been denied.
A guilty plea was entered for failing without reasonable cause to surrender at Weymouth Police Station having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on August 23, 2012.
Darch is also charged with failing to comply with the requirements of a youth rehabilitation order made on May 23, 2012.
Darch will appear again at the court via videolink on February 12 when the case will be sent to the crown court.
