Two motorists hurt in smash on A35 at Bloxworth

CRASH: two cars were in collision at Bloxworth
TWO people were taken to hospital after a smash on the A35 at Bloxworth.
They were injured in a two-vehicles crash near the Woodbury Crossroads at 6.50pm yesterday.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof from one of the vehicles to get to an injured woman.
She was taken to hospital in an ambulance on a spinal board with suspected neck and back injuries.
Another casualty who was being looked after in a car which had stopped at the scene was also taken to hospital.
Firefighters from Bere Regis, Wareham and Poole attended the collision.
Motorists faced some delays after the collision but the road was clear by 7.50pm.
