THE spotlight will be on the county as the Best of Dorset Show comes to Weymouth Pavilion.

Exhibitors are being advised to book their stall early at the show, which is promised by organisers to be the 'best ever'.

Weymouth and Portland Borough Councillor and tourism and culture spokesman Ian Bruce said: "The Best of Dorset Show offers many businesses and organisations a great opportunity to raise awareness of their services, generate new business and promote their activities and products."

The event, organised by the borough council's events team, will feature information and ideas of what to do in the county in 2013.

It takes place on Sunday, March 24, from 11am to 4pm.

Bookings for stalls and exhibitions are now being taken, with stands costing from £125 and leaflet distribution from £45.

For more information call events officer Charlotte Sheppard on 01305 838512.

Good news that the facility is being used for such an event.

Why not have an image of a previous Best of Dorset event showing its popularity or a similar event at the Pavilion demonstrating its facilities?

Promote the venue as a place to be, not the councillors!

Hope it is a success for all.

Was it on last year couldn't have been Best of Dorset as many of the products were from Somerset.
