Bridport Stained Glass offering two beginners' workshops in aid of charity

JUDE Alderman of Bridport Stained Glass is offering two beginners’ workshops in stained glass to raise money for charity.
In April 2013 she is joining the Britain V Cancer fundraising trek to Petra, and hopes to raise £2000 for the charity.
She said: “I had always wanted to visit Petra, and when I heard about the trek I thought what a brilliant way of getting there, by raising money for a cause I care deeply about.”
Jude’s mother died of cancer when Jude was 17, and her sister Frances was 13. She said: “Most of our lives have been touched by this disease.
“Each year cancer in all its forms claims more than 150,000 lives.
“Remembering all the people we have lost, or who are battling with this disease now, has inspired Fran and I to join this Desert Trek.
“It won’t be a holiday. It will be five days of hard work, dust and heat.”
The workshops will run on February 9 and 10 and March 16 and 17. Jude is offering them at a cost of £100. All the money will go to Cancer Research UK.
