A FROZEN food shop is set to become the latest addition to Dorchester town centre.

COOK, which will offer a wide range of frozen meals, is setting up shop in the Tudor Arcade.

It will open on Friday February 22 in the unit last used as the Town Mill Bakery, which shut its doors back in September 2011.

The company claims to create frozen meals and puddings at minus 35 degrees Celsius that taste homemade.

COOK Dorchester’s head of operations Richard Simmons said: “The team at COOK is passionate about making fantastic food that a really good cook might produce at home if only they had the time and we are delighted to be opening our new shop in Dorchester.

“We look forward to offering local residents a huge variety of mouth-watering dishes and will be running a leaflet promotion offering 15 per cent off all our meals until March 30.”
