Let Bridport and District Third Age games begin

A WORD games group is being set up through Bridport and District University of the Third Age.
Maggie Jamieson is holding the sessions for a return to the days of such games as Call My Bluff, Pictionary, Taboo and charades.
She said: “I think there is a demand for somewhere in the Bridport area where you can meet with friends to play games like these that test your brain power and also have some fun.”
The word games group that will meet on alternate Tuesdays at the Bridport and West Dorset Social Club in South Street.
The first meeting is on Tuesday, February 5, starting at 7.30pm.
It will be a mould-breaker for U3A.
It will be the first of its 40-plus special interest groups to meet in the evening instead of afternoons.
