Dog recovered after cliff fall in Weymouth
7:28am Friday 8th February 2013 in News
A DOG which plunged off a cliff was safely recovered after it went missing for more than three hours.
Pepsi the Jack Russell tumbled off the edge at Bincleaves while out for a walk with its owner in Weymouth yesterday, sparking a frantic search.
Despite the fall, the owner could still hear Pepsi barking but could not get to her.
Wyke Coastguard Rescue Officers were called in who met with workers at the bottom of the cliff at the Bincleaves arm of Portland Harbour.
Pepsi was safely recovered and reunited with her grateful owner.
