Rules for Great Dorset Chilli Festival growing contest

The Great Dorset Chilli Festival has announced the rules for its chilli plant growing competition.
The judging will take place at this year’s festival from August 3 to 4.
Everyone has to grow the same variety – the NuMex Twilight – and organisers are supplying the seeds, free of charge along with a basic growing guide via chilli seed experts Sea Spring Seeds in West Bexington and Simpsons Seeds near Longleat.
Class 2 is open to any variety of chilli plant, but it must have been grown this year.
Sowing before the end of February is advised.
