12:00pm Thursday 14th February 2013 in News
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Dorchester.
The offence, which is believed to have occurred on Sunday night, involved two offenders kicking through a glass panel of a front door to gain access to a property in the Fordington area and stealing around £150 in cash.
Inspector Steve Marsh, of Dorchester Police, said the offenders possibly also tried other properties in the area.
He said: “One elderly neighbour heard two loud bangs and saw two youths wearing hoodies.”
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Dorchester Police Station on 101.
