Bridport police information appeal on business break-in
Police in Bridport are appealing for anyone with information to come forward following a burglary from commercial premises in West Allington.
Officers are also keen to trace the stolen property, which they believe may have been offered for sale.
The incident happened sometime between 12pm on Saturday February 16 and 8.30am on Monday February 18.
A Bristan shower head, three Corex brass fittings and approximately 76 assorted double headed taps were stolen. PC Sean Cannon, of Bridport police, said: “The items stolen are valued at around £1,000 and this crime has caused a considerable inconvenience to the victim.
“If anyone saw anything suspicious in that area, or has seen items matching the descriptions above, please call Dorset Police on 101.
“I would also urge anyone, who has been offered such items in unusual circumstances to contact police.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 18:62. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
Police declined to release the exact location of the burglary.
