Woman helped from sea in Weymouth

A YOUNG woman was helped to safety by passers-by after wading into the sea off Weymouth Beach early this morning.
Coastguards received a 999 call about 6.45am from someone staying in a seafront hotel to report the woman going into the sea in freezing conditions.
She had got up to her knees in the water and laid down at one point.
Police and paramedics also responded and the woman was taken away for treatment.
