Sherborne community’s bid for new safer skate park

WORK has started on site to renovate a skate park following a huge community effort to rebuild it.
Fundraisers have given generously to the Sherborne Skate Park project to help them raise more than £185,000 to build a better and safer skate park.
Magna Housing donated £5,000 from its community initiative fund and local organisations have sponsored the project.
Sponsored activities have been carried out.
Magna Housing’s community development manager, Ken Bodycombe, said: “The enthusiasm of this community group is outstanding.”
