New 'gateway' for providing carers advice launched in Dorset

A NEW ‘gateway’ providing information and advice for carers has been launched in Dorset.
Packed with details of local services, support, national developments and links to useful organisations, the Dorset Carers Hub will provide information at the click of a button.
Carers can search for local events and news, access training opportunities, short breaks and advocacy groups, and find out about benefits and entitlements.
The website will also help make carers aware of the range of health and social care services in the county including services run by local voluntary organisations.
It has been developed by Dorset Carers Partnership which works to provide a voice for carers across the county.
