Public transport users urged to attend important meeting

PUBLIC transport users in West Dorset are being urged to attend a meeting in Bridport.
The next meeting of the West Dorset Western Area Transport Action Group (WATAG) will be held on Thursday March 28 at the WI Hall in Bridport.
The meeting, which starts at 6.30pm and will end by 8.30pm, is open to all members of the public, and town and parish councillors interested in public transport matters.
Following the recent announcement that the X53 bus services will be a commercial operation the meeting will discuss the alterations to the timetables and WATAG hopes that a representative from First Bus and the county council will be present The route 31 timetable will also be discussed, printed copies of the latest timetables should be ready for collection and roving specialists will also be reporting on the conferences they have attended and the contacts with Passenger Focus which have taken place.
