WORKING HARD: Apprentice Hannah Venning
ONE apprentice was inspired by her course to become a legal secretary.
Hannah Venning, 20, spends four days a week on placement at Battens Solicitors in Dorchester, and one day a week studying her course, a level two NVQ in Business and Administration at Kingston Maurward.
Hannah said: “The college has friendly, helpful teaching staff that make themselves available throughout the week via email when I am on placement.
“The course has helped me in my career choices by giving me access to valuable work experience, which has opened the door to the legal profession.”
Hannah’s role includes dealing with the public and undertaking administrative tasks, and she has decided to further her studies when she completes her apprenticeship and train to become a legal secretary.”
