ALERT: Firefighters put out a chimney blaze in Purbeck
FIREFIGHTERS put out a blaze affecting a chimney at a property in Purbeck last night.
Wareham crews were alerted to the blaze in Steeple at 7pm on Thursday.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service used the opportunity to warn residents to ensure their chimneys are swept regularly, and to test smoke alarms frequently.
