A FISHING boat came to the rescue of another craft when it broke down off Portland Bill.

Coastguards said the Weymouth-based Nicola L assisted the vessel Osprey with two people on board when it suffered problems at sea on Thursday afternoon.

The boats were met at Weymouth Harbour by coastguard rescue officers to check all was well and to give advice.
