PEOPLE are being urged to seize the chance to get on AIR.
AIR FM, the new local community radio station for Weymouth and Portland, will be launching on Saturday, May 11 with a party on the beach.
Station bosses are hoping everyone in the community will go down to help them celebrate and are looking for community groups who want to get involved in the party.
Station manager Carl Greenham, pictured left, said the event was for everyone and they want to hear from any community groups who wanted to come and entertain the crowds, like singers or dancers.
