Can you help find mystery funnyman George from Martinstown?

A SEARCH is under way to find a mystery comedian who may be able to bring laughs to a local charity event.

Organisers of the Spectacular Evening of Fun in aid of Julia’s House children’s hospice are on the look-out for a man they believe is called George.

They spotted ‘George’ performing in a YouTube clip, filmed at Martinstown in Dorchester, although villagers said they did not have his contact details.

Event organiser Chris Lewis said they would like ‘George’ to perform at the Spectacular Evening of Fun because he doesn’t swear or pick on the audience.

Mr Lewis added: “There are very few comedians who just stand there and make people laugh and from what I have seen I believe that ‘George’ fits this need.”

The night of fun will take place at the Hamworthy Club, Canford Magna on April 27 and tickets cost £12.50.
